Overview

In view of the International Woman’s Day, Sp.a Ghent, in partnership with Viva- SVV launched a menstrual poverty campaign dubbed #BetterManaged, Help End Menstrual Poverty, aimed at supporting young women in the Ghent and Flanders area who, most of the time, do not have sustainable income flow to purchase menstrual products.

The solution towards this was to initiate a campaign that will trigger the empathy of the community to donate for the cause.

In collaboration with a copywriter, I worked on the conception and development of both print and digital artworks for this project.

Progress with my creative goals dictated developing 3 different visual directions. The first proposal for the campaign involved an illustrated execution that I created with Adobe Illustrator while the last two options were with pre-photographed imagery. I also created a vector pad form for options 1 and 2 to serve as a campaign identity.
